A Toronto-based indie rock band heavily driven by guitars, The Fame have just released their engaging debut single ‘Wide Awake!’
Focusing mainly on self-reflection, ‘Wide Awake’ encourages listeners to appreciate generally mundane happenings of everyday life. The talented band shares, “While crafting the song, we collectively drew from personal life experience and our rock music inspirations to create something that anyone can relate to.” Influenced by the notable musical stylings of Nirvana and Oasis, The Fame have crafted a signature sound that, paired with their tenacity and ruthlessness, will take them very far. Produced by Brian Moncarz (Our Lady Peace, Circa Survive), The Fame’s upcoming debut EP is set for release in early 2019, and ‘Wide Awake’ is the first moving single that gives us a decent idea of what to expect from The Fame moving forward.
